These guys were great and professional. They were busy on a Wednesday afternoon and they still got me in and out for a windshield replacement within an hour. Raymond quoted me $120 by phone and that's what I paid. No hidden costs. I called all over Dallas and others wanted $300-$400. Umm... I DON'T THINK SO!!! Good work guys!
You can expect a low cost! Provided you are aware that you will get a low cost piece of glass and they will not vacuum or clean the inside of your vehicle - don't forget your towel! Yes, the rumors are true. Getting there feels like taking a quest that requires you to "go past the abandoned warehouse; three blocks down and make a left at the dilapidated grocery store; if you see a gentleman with no trousers and a purple bag on his head you've gone too far." But, once you arrive the area is relatively fine and isolated from most of that. There is a waiting room that reminds you of maybe an independent film you once watched that had these grungy locations. But, it just adds to the experience - plus they have AC and a TV. Don't touch the TV, though; that message is clearly posted, twice. Calling ahead is only so you can check to see if they have your glass in stock. Make sure you ask if they have enough or if you need to make an appointment. Otherwise, I think appointments at this place are pretty useless because the service is relatively fast on a regular day. On a busy day I'm sure the wait time goes up and might even hit a couple of hours. I was out in about 45 minutes. Paid $125 flat. Again, sounds great, but I don't think the glass has any kind of UV protection (not sure if OEM does, either) but for sure there is an undulation on the passenger side that is sometimes noticeable when looking in its direction. It does not affect driving, however. So, I'm not complaining.
